Best of luck to you today.  But I hope Super Mario rips Garrard's head off and holds it aloft for stunned Jacksonvillians to see.

HOU 3, JAC 0.

Dumb facemask by the Jags.  And then John Carney can't hit from 41.

Re: Admission
How did you think the Texans would finish the season, Outlaw?  Despite today's abhorrent performance, I think this is still an 8 win team.  Definitely not a playoff contender though.

And I have no idea where the sacks went.  We had one on the first drive, and then that was it.

Looking forward to a day when being a Texans fan doesn't mean that April is the highlight of my season...

Re: Admission
8-8. What bothers me is the break down in the defense. Joey Harrington, Lemon and Garrard were throwing the ball all over the place. How many sacks ... in three games... is it three sacks ?

Harrington, Lemon (Green) and Garrard were all previously sacked into the double digits.

We shut the Panthers and the Chiefs down on the ground but that's been it.

Teams are running and passing on us and we aren't getting pressure or sacks. Not a good combo.

7-9 Would be a huge disappointment. If they keep playing like yesterday 6-10.

At least
The Titans are losing as well.

And we're going to head into our bye week at 3-3, which is a respectable .500.

Positives of Today's Game
  1.  Kevin Walter.
  2.  No one got hurt.
  3.  No need to worry about a complacent team greeting VY next week.

Re: Salaam
Though he got used today, that would be a big loss.  Mostly because it would force Jordan Black in at LT.

Re: JJ
Definitely not at WR, though I think he was out there for a kickoff.  Correct me if I'm wrong?

Another TD
Guess who?  MoJo Drew on a 57 yarder.  All of this "Run Defense Is Stout" talk should cease immediately.  I'm an idiot.

Ugh
So much for that back against the wall speech.

Quick observations:

  1. We couldn't stop the run
  2. We couldn't run the ball
  3. We don't have a red zone threat
  4. We still need help at LT and RB
  5. We shot ourselves in the foot, leg, ass, belly, throat, eyeball, and temple.  We also slit our wrists, while sitting in a tub with the toaster.
