Anything Good ?

By way of introduction I've been lurking and posting a few things here and there on this blog. I have a top secret blog of my own. So here I am. Lousy at introductions.

Fred Bennett did okay. We need the rookie to get more exeperience, hopefully it's good experience.

Sage Rosenfels is an excellant back up. It seems he could start for a lot of teams.

The Titans lost.

My glass is not half empty. I threw it against the wall after the onside kick.

Oh yes, after Little Big Horn the good news was Custers men had some ammo left.

Probably Happened a Lot Yesterday
David Anderson did okay also. This is a lame topic. I'm still depressed.

I'd say
The game was a definately a game of momentum and the Jags, with their stout D and good ground game were able to capture it and hold on.

Now looking at positives, you could look at a few game changing plays that if outcomes were different, the whole ball game would have been different.

  1. The field goal that we kicked from the two yard line. (from here on out, I think Kubes pulls a page out of JDR's idiot's guide to coaching and goes for it on 4th in that situation.)
  2. Davis fumble (Trying to make a play.  Inexcusable, but still, at least he wasn't showboating ala Jabar 'Look at me now' Gaffeny.)
Those two plays aren't going to happen very often. That set the momentum in the Jags favor.  If we make the plays we should, we are playing a very different ball game.

Two other plays I throw out

  1. The blindside sack/fumble/TD
  2. MJDs 57 yard 4th qtr run.
Both were products of not taking advantage of earlier opportunities, and putting ourselves get into a hole.

That's a 28 point swing by my math.  So I guess that means we won... right?
