You might be wondering why BRB is reporting the death of an American icon when it has no apparent connection to your Houston Texans.  Well, I'll tell you why.  It's because it's infinitely more newsworthy than the fact that Ahman Green won't play again on Sunday.

Seriously...at this point, the team shouldn't issue a release regarding Ahman's status until it confirms that he's actually going to suit up on Sunday.  That'd be newsworthy.  For the record, that makes a cool fifty percent (50%) of games for which Green hasn't even been active since he signed his four (4) year, $22,000,000.00 deal (featuring $6,500,000.00 in guaranteed money).

The Dayne Trayne will get the starting nod at Tennessee.  As if there was any doubt.
