Go Ahead And Tell Me You Don't Like Gary Kubiak

I dare you.  Humble, grateful, and hard-working...in a world that allows Bobby Petrino to crap all over a fan base without any real repercussions, we've got it awfully good, Houston fans.  If you're not cheering for Gary Kubiak to stick around here for awhile, I don't know what to tell you.

I love the Kubes
but I am still a little peeved about him letting Andre get injured.

All in all, though, I can't really complain.

Arkansas
C'mon, MDC.  You live there.  You know what evil lies in the hearts of asshats like Petrino.
Looking forward to a day when being a Texans fan doesn't mean that April is the highlight of my season...

Evil
I don't know if you can chalk this up to evil as much as stupidity.  How else do you explain someone quitting the NFL to take a job here right when McFadden is out the door?  This is a 4-5 win team next year.

Well done is better than well read.
What many fans posting on the blogs at chron.com refuse to accept is that I don't care how many books you've read about something, or how much time you've watched someone do something, it's not the same as doing it yourself, and when you do start that, you will make mistakes peroid.

Fortunately for Texan fans, Kubiak is still on the learning curve and Bob McNAir is a patient man. I don't even understand all the fuss about Richard Smith. To put it bluntly, his tools are 1/2 a defensive line 2 good linebackers and a patched together secondary. By playing zone defenses and forcing young quarterbacks to make reads, you give the 1/2 of the defensive line that can get there more time to get there, and increase the number of plays an offense needs to get to the red zone, and increase the possibility that that offense will make a mistake, any kind of mistake, false start, hold, fumble, interception.

I like this defense much better than Capers defense, because when it does blitz it's timely, and they go ahead and blitz as opposed to waiting until you know you have noone to cover and blitz 5 seconds into the play, with 3 defensive linemen trying to create lanes these late blitzers can run through.

Just my 2c.
