Brandon Frye Is The Newest Texan!

PrintSeems like Smith and Kubes are acting to shore up the perimeter of the OL with this selection. Frye is a project, but you have to feel encouraged by this:
"With patient coaching, someone could unearth that hidden talent."
In other words, it looks like the Texans rolled the dice on upside here. Although I thought Mason Crosby merited a serious look at this spot, this could be a HUGE value if Frye is able to lock down a starting spot at tackle in the coming seasons.

Maybe his health is better than we know, and thus allows them to take on a 1-2 year project that could potentially blossom into something great.
We can be critical of the draft picks, but in the end we always support the new Texan.
