Jerome Mathis is what?

PrintKubes gave Mathis a ZJ in the paper this morning that said how he was actully in shape and contributing to the Texans as a WR option. Does anyone think this is pumping him up for other GM's? Or is it possibly legitimate.
I would love to believe he still has an outside chance of developing into a deep threat. Or even just regaining his Pro Bowl status as a returner would be better than I ever expected at any point last season.

does that mean that Bethel Johnson gets cut? That might be why Kubes is rationalizing, since he's been yelling at Bethel in camp about running crappy routes and being lazy.
