Most Memorable Texans Games Ever???
Hey Guys,
I'm new to the site but love what I see so far and can't wait to get more involved.
A question for you though- If you were to think back over the past few years of Texans football, which individual games stick out most in your minds? Things like huge comebacks, miraculous wins, crazy things that happened in the stands, blunder type games (Leon Lett type things)?
Thanks guys!! Just trying to get some insight into what makes the Texans so special to so many of us!!

Thanks For Reading, MJY
Glad to have you aboard, and I hope you’ll keep it going in the Comments and FanPosts. In response to your question about what games stick out:
1. The inaugural game against Dallas. ’Nuff said.
2. Rosencopter.
3. The Christmas Eve win over the Colts.
4. The Thursday night win over Denver last year.
5. The win over Pittsburgh in Year One, where the offense managed a total of 47 yards.
6. The loss to Cleveland in the last week of the 2004 season (a/k/a the first time the fans turned against David Carr).
7. The loss to SF at the end of the miserable ’05 campaign that clinched the No. 1 overall pick for the good guys.
Looking forward to a day when being a Texans fan doesn't mean that April is the highlight of my season...

You had to list Denver
I actually liked that game, even though we lost. I really like the whole “Battle red” thing the Texans do, I’d like to see it again. How often do they do it?
Too many white hats on the Texans not to root for them.
Mountains, forest, sea: these render man fierce, but yet do not destroy the man.

re: Battle Red
I was hoping we save it for the Monday night game this year. But for some reason, they never let me make those decisions.

Re: Battle Red
It’s supposed to be only once a season, but I believe we’ve broken it out twice in a season before (though I could be off on that).

Yeah, they did
Once with the red tops/red pants (kool-aid man) against Denver. Once in the finale against JAX when AD ran two kickoffs back (red tops/white pants).
This year it looks like it’s only scheduled once – the full kool-aid against JAX. No more red tops/white pants I guess.
Oh – they also have “runny road brown” where they shit their pants in every road game.

The good:
Cowboys in the first game
Colts a couple years ago
Denver last year
Last year’s comeback against the Panthers.
The bad:
Last year against the Falcons
Pittsburgh this year
Jacksonville this year
All those bad losses from the Capers/Casserly era (too many to list!)
The ugly:
The Rosencopter, obv

This is spam, by the way
This guy is putting this up at every SB Nation board. I’m not holding my breath on this dude getting “more involved.”

I mean, you're not selling anything...
… so I guess technically not spam, but “what makes the Texans so special to so many of us” sure rings hollow when all 31 other teams are also so special to you.

Word
Saw it on the Vikes’ site yesterday. Dude is a whore, spreading his legs for every fan base.
I feel dirty. Yet aroused. And also hungry.
