WITH THE NEXT PICK, THE HOUSTON TEXANS SELECT

At the rate we are going this year, the best thing might turn out to be the pick we get.  We have some very talented core players, but depth is an issue at positions like wr, the whole secondary, lb, and I don't know about you but I would love to see another stud wr lined up next to aj.  Most of all, we need a leader on offense.  I see the defensive leader in 'meco, but I want to see someone on the offense step up to that role with some fire(lookin at you, schaubby).  but lets play GM for a minute, what postion would you want, and even better is who?  Myself, I would love to see slaton's old roomie from wv Pat White, at least then if he has to run(lookin at you sage) he might just make something happen.  What do you think?

defense again?

I dont disagree with what i’m seeing so far, but we have so many 1st rounders on d already. I’m looking foward to free agency. Jermaine Phillips will be a FA and i would love to see him laying some wood in our secondary. I’d love to see an offenive pick iwth our #1 pick

when will the losing end? THIS WEEK!!!!!!!

all?

We still get 6 picks in the coming draft, right? Can we not take all of the above listed positions? Works for me.

Finally... Games that matter!! (fuck vince young)

oops

you are correct, i meant with the first pick. sorry for not elaborating. also, i dont see anyone’a choices, i see most of you want a safety of corner, but do you know who?

I voted secondary

But I’d really like to give it about 12 more games before I put too much thought to it. Maybe when Dunta comes back they start to “click” back there. I don’t expect him to be as good as he was pre-injury, but I think he takes some pressure off Fred and Frenchie and maybe those guys relax and play better.

A lot of ifs, but after 4 games that’s all we got: IF.

i know what you mean

that is the only reason i say qb. dunta will be back hopefully mid season, and has the rest of the year to get his groove back, and with bennett on the other side, i like our db’s, but those safeties….thats something else. i wanna see what happens with wilson, but i would love to see first pick next year at either ss or qb

We need a Safety

A hard hitting strong safety or a ball hawking free safety… both would help us with our pathetic turnover ratio.

I think you guys should trade your first round pick for the Miami Dolphin's Derek Hagan...
