Ravens 41, Texans 13

Final stats here. I'm not a Star Trek guy, but everyone is familiar with this clip. I invite you to substitute "Khan" with "Sage," and vent as you see fit.

So that was like

The complete opposite of what happened when I did this in Madden.

Fuck Sage Rosenfails.

oh i laughed at it too

that was when the game went from tragicomedy to pure farce

that game was great

towards the ultimate goal of a swift end to the Texans career of one Richard Smith.

Finish OUT of the bottom 10 in the league in Defense, then come talk to me.

Healthy and Turnover free 2008-09, and we win 11!

My favorite part....

was Sage’s 14 pump fakes after the line of scrimmage, that he was sure were going to confuse Baltimore’s Defense closing in on him as he goes for the sideline! Classic Texans football! Very Carr, very Carr.

Some teams play games on Sunday...ours goes to War. Go Texans!!!

Hey, that play action fake handoff on the TD pass

to Walter was a good one. Even I said “what a good fake” before he threw it. My Ravens are very susceptible to the underneath slant pass and that showed our weakness. Too bad not too many teams since Indy and Tennessee have stuck with that. You’ve got some real good players on your team but it is way too hard to overcome the losses you’ve had due to injuries. Next season will be different for you guys when Schaub and Diles are back. Do us a favor and take care of Indy for us. Thanks and good luck, guys.

Thanks for your kind words, but...

The way we played against you guys today, it won’t be different next season. There’s a loss, but that game was a pathetic showing by a pathetic team.

I’m glad you guys are doing well, though. Joe Flacco’s kinda snazzy.

I wonder who our backup would have been...

If we’d traded Sage for that third-rounder? Certainly not Brink or Nall.

I wonder what we could trade Sage for now? A pop-tart? TWO pop-tarts?

Sigh. Typical Sunday-night feelings tonight. I think about doing a blog entry… I take a drink… I start a blog entry… take a drink… delete the entry… drink… wonder why I spend so much time thinking and writing about the Texans… drink… read post-game press conference quotes… drink… hit self in head with hammer… drink… look at standings, notice Titans record… finish the bottle… remember the Oiler days… cry… drink drink cry…. pass out.

I have quite an empty life. :)

Was surprised to see Sage...

…still in at the end. Would have been a good time to see what mop up work Nall could do without any real pressure to win at that point in the game. However, thanks for the TO’s and laying down at the goal line for our last two scores. It did, however, screw up my score prediction, as I had it 27-13 Ravens!

Flacco

If we would have traded Sage, our backup could have been Flacco with the 18th pick we traded to Baltimore. DOH!

Ugh

I’m watching the Monday Night Game (great game, btw) and it’s amazing to see how a team like Arizona can generate pressure by blitzing so much. Is their D more talented than ours (besides at cb)? I don’t think so.

This just sucks.

When I'm on the mic, I'm like global warming, you can't ignore me.
