I mean, I appreciate that it was a nice, safe place to live, but it’s a very strange place. Compared to the other places I’ve lived, it seemed somewhat unreal.
Plus, the Woodlands Corp won’t let anybody build a Dairy Queen in the area. That’s messed up.

It’s just a giant yuppie community where the adults and the kids are more concerned with their cell phones than any sort of… what’s that called… human decency. I hated it and was so glad when my parents moved.

i want to become a translator anyway, so next year will bump me up the fluency i need.
right now i’m killing time as an english lit and russian lang/lit majors at william and mary. i see g-dub all the time at model un conferences. good people for the most part.
I travel to hungary...
and magyar is the worst language I’ve looked at. I want to learn enough russian as a lot of people there speak it.
russian is awesome
and it gives you a leg up if you want to learn any other slavic language. magyar could help you with, uh, finnish and estonian. how useful

Language is tough. I’m trying to pick up French while I"m over here… and I have a base of Spanish. But it’s just tough to keep vocabulary straight.
I will happily pass the torch for displaced Texan fan next year.

Like TK, I thought the Super Mario pick was stupid, too. I realized my mistake some time in 2007. To be fair, I didn’t think we should have picked Bush, I thought we should have gone for Young. But that wouldn’t have been a good pick either, obviously.

I always love how ESPN
treats Houston like it’s Carolina or Jacksonville. They don’t talk about Detroit or Buffalo or Cleveland this way. We’re not just another fucking expansion team in a shitty hamlet. We’re motherfucking Houston.
