Who is this Jacques Reeves fellow?

And why hasn’t he been playing cornerback for us before?

Ol Frenchy

He gets his picks occasionally, but I really think the secondary looked better because of the pressure. We did still have some tackling issues though

Some teams play games on Sunday...ours goes to War. Go Texans!!!

Very true

Frenchy was, like, a real NFL corner in the first half before reverting to his no-see-um ways in the second. Still, he played his best game as a Texan, by far. That pick was a great play.

We had some tackling issues, no doubt, but MJD is a pretty damn good back.

Also, Steve Slaton > Reggie Bush.

re: Tackling

MJD ran over DeMeco. More than once.

If DeMeco can’t drop him every time, it’s definitely farfetched to expect a CB to do it.

So you're saying that now I have to think of some witty Sig that will be applicable across all the SBN sites? Go TexanHornStros!

And one other thing

Am I the only one impressed with Matt Turk’s arm strength?

strength

and the touch he displayed putting that one up there for OD

Would've..

be hilarious if OD had made that catch!

GO TEXANS!!!!!!!!!

Would have been

Just what we deserved, considered how hard we dominated that game. I was embarrassed that the Jags were within 10 at the half.

GO TEXANS!!!!!!!!!

I'll say it

Much improvement all-around from Frenchy in his play Monday night. His head was turned looking for the ball at least 50% of the time. That’s an exponential increase from week 3.

So you're saying that now I have to think of some witty Sig that will be applicable across all the SBN sites? Go TexanHornStros!

and one of the better plays

was when Garrard tried the QB draw and we plugged it!

We actually READ it, and STOPPED it! And I’m sure the four or five times we failed to stop him last time were a big part of the film study on the defensive side. But the point it, RS had a PLAN to stop it, and it actually worked! I’m assuming here, so I could be way off, and the players just bowed up, ya never know.

Please draft some defensive stars for the next DC.

That was a great moment

I did a short email interview on another site about the game, and I said the key was for the Texans to stop Garrard when it mattered most and that’s exactly what happened on that play. They really stepped up and LEARNED FROM THE MISTAKES of the first Jags game.

Of course, mainly – they took care of the ball and that’s why they won.
