has justified every doubt I’ve ever had about him. Consistently. It makes me happy and angry. Also: why in god’s name do we always make check down passes on 3rd and long? Let’s file that under things winning teams don’t do. And is something we’ve do every single game since the day we drafted zoolander.

We don't have better options
but that doesn’t make him a playoff/superbowl caliber QB. Would he be enough with great defense? Yes. See: Rex Grossman. Is he enough with our defense? No. Not even close. We’ve seen those interceptions of his way too often with the game on the line, or when in the red zone, or those stupid check down throws, or those throws that should be intercepted but aren’t, and the overthrows…
