The game looked like it was over before the end of the 2nd quarter. How a team goes from winning a toe-to-toe battle with the 13-2 Titans to losing a gimme-game against the now 4-11 Raiders is beyond me... Un-freakin-believable.

Gawd, I can't believe we lost that game.

I mean, I’m not shocked, but I really thought we would take care of business…. or at least, I didn’t think we would get embarrassed, but that’s exactly what happened.

I mention this on my blog, but I hope this game serves a purpose. I hope Kubiak uses it next year EVERY TIME he senses the Texans are getting overconfident, or start thinking their shit doesn’t stink. Just look at the team and say “27-16.”

Two things

1) Maybe this will keep them from being considered the Next Big Thing for next year, which will be good, because clearly this team can’t play well as a favorite yet. But if not,

2) Maybe this will teach the team to not be complacent so that they can play well when they are expected to.
