Yep, I called my own number for this one. After K Kris Brown missed a 41 yard field goal at the end of the half, I had a feeling that he would come back and win the game. The feeling stuck with me as the game unfolded... and true to my hunch, Kris Brown split the uprights as time expired. Sweet sweet victory.

I told a coworker....

when we got the ball on our 2, it’s Schaub and Kris Brown time. I just thought if Schaub could’ve face the colts this season………what if?

You had way more confidence than me. When we started our last posession I though that OT was the best possible outcome

I was worried that we would end up punting out of our end zone because our running game would not be able to punch out a tough 1st down. After the Slaton 3 yd run on 1st down, Schaub (aided by a fabulous onehanded grab by the Beastmaster) willed us down the field. His calm and accurate throws were truly a thing of beauty. He really looked like a great QB on that drive. It was a great team victory.

Great hunch SOLIS, I was so shocked to see KB miss a 41 yarder, that I was not thinking anything. It’s really tough kicking in those conditions, and he showed his awesome skill by nailing that last one practically dead center.

Kudos to the Texans. That win was as impressive as any they have ever had. Success breeds more success. If we haven’t already turned the corner then we are making our turn signal now. I cannot wait until Sunday, because I know the players will be extremely fired up to face the team with the best record in the league. Should be a great atmosphere on Sunday.

GO TEXANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well....

I tend to be overly optimistic and I must admit I was nervous just before V. Leach converted the first down and when the Kick went up. I’m hoping with thier new found “heart” they can do the home crowd a favor and beat the oilers.

GO TEXANS!!!!!!!!!

Hell, after spending my whole life watching Houston sports

(and the last few months watching this Texans team) I assumed they would turn the ball over and find a way to lose in the final seconds. Up until the ball went through the uprights, I fully anticipated a blocked kick returned for a TD.

I see why OD is open a lot

he made a great move to get in position for the big catch of that drive.

But I’m a slow white guy so “great move” is relative.

Please draft some defensive stars for the next DC.
