Make it work Giants. Make it work...

Initially it was the lure of forecasting Danny Clark's possible 2008 landing spot that got me to the site, but boy were there better fish to fry once I got there.  Imagine the possibilities:
(1) David Carr reunited with the QBwho made him <ahem> what he is today, QB guru Chris Palmer;
(2) David Carr in camp with the warm, fuzzy Tom Coughlin;
(3) David Carr playing in front of the forgiving New York Giants' fan base;
(4) David Carr displaying his Cali' dude attitude with the laissez faire New York press; or,
(5) my favorite, David Carr living in the same town as his sure-to-be best friend, this guy.

If there is truly an Almighty figure looking down on his, He/She will provide for a meeting of the minds between the NY Giants and D.C., if only for a year.

Win-Win Deal
  1. No QB controversy, period
  2. DL provided with raw meat during scrimmages
  3. Makes Ely look like the bestest QB ever
  4. David now close to major fashion center. Esquire assigns reporter to "Carr Beat"
  5. NY is a world-renowned for its mitten stores
  6. Palmer looks like super genius if David elevates his game to mediocrity
  7. Ely learns how to assume ultra-protective fetal position when blitzed
  8. Tom Coughlin has NY by the cajones. "One peep and we're puttin' in Carr!"

Re: Win Win
2 and 8 = best. lines. ever.
To DE or not to DE... that is the question.

Jake Delhomme
Back about a year ago, I came across a story where they basically said that Jake Delhomme was a great guy because he welcomed David Carr with open arms. Yes, even though David Carr could take his job as starter, etc. I figured that ol' Jake was probably the happiest guy on the planet when he found out that Carr was his competition.

Right on
#3 and #8 are pretty good.  I'd add #9: NYC gets religion by praying for Eli's health for 17 weeks each year.
