Jerome Mathis Has Been Removed From Office
Or cut a mere month after signing. While I can't say I'm shocked that Mathis didn't stick in D.C., I figured he'd at least be good for a lingering ailment and/or a threat to innocent neighbors before he was actually handed his walking papers.
Talk about a guy who squandered what was once a helluva promising career. I think he's going to have a tough time finding another team that'll take a chance on him.

In spanish we would say...
Pendejo – Pen – deh – ho
He’s got damn near world class speed, but doesn’t seem have the sense to appreciate it.

Great work here since you started! And I noticed that you don’t type with an accent! (smile)

Didn't Even Make It To TC
He must really have problems. I hope Jacoby Jones hasn’t caught the same illness.

Re: Jacoby
His asleep at the wheel thing will all be forgotten if he can have a preseason like he had last year – and actually continue his play into the regular season. I swear, he went from looking like cheetah in August to a baby deer in September. In any case, I’m sure BFD will keep enough faith for the lot of us. Truly dangerous punt returners are a rare breed, but I think Jacoby has the skill to take it to that level.
Here’s to hoping he shakes his rookie jitters and goes back to playing electrifying football.

What Worries Me About Jacoby
Lance Zeirlein suggested that hiw work ethic wasn’t very good. Couple that with his asleep at the wheel/drunk driving problem and there is cause for concern. Hopefully he can get his act in gear.

He also “suggested” that Greenwood was not good and should be replaced by a rookie draft pick. LZ can suggest himself straight to hell.
Yay, sports.
