Guerilla (Internet) Radio--BRB On "The Audible"

Yesterday, I was fortunate enough to appear on "The Audible," which I'm told is the most popular football show on iTunes. While I hadn't been exposed to the show before, I can see why they've developed such a strong audience; the hosts (Cecil and Sigmund) were better prepared than any hosts I've ever encountered. I mean, these guys had clearly done their homework, and they knew more about your Houston Texans than 99% of the national media. Needless to say, I came away extremely impressed, and I wholeheartedly recommend you take a listen to any of the episodes in their library, or take a look at their pre-draft coverage here (SOLIS actually included their analysis of Antwaun Molden in his epic post after the draft, which should give you an idea of the quality of their work).

Having now listened to the interview...

nicely done, man. I love hearing bloggers speak intelligently about the team, especially working without a net like that. $50 says R.J. could not have done 1/10th as well.

Nice job Tim...

sounds like you may have a future in sports talk radio. A lot of your comments sounded like you have access to information, rather than just opinions formulated on information from mainstream media. If so, please keep the inside info coming. I feel like the countributing authors here at BRB do a better job covering the Texans than any print, TV or radio media.

It’s my sincere hope that BRB just keeps getting better and better. Since SOLIS and Marroncito came on board, I think the content has gotten approximately 100 times stronger; both of them are doing unbelievable work. Between the three of us, we’ll keep working to make this place as good as it can be.

Looking forward to a day when being a Texans fan doesn't mean that April is the highlight of my season...

You’re right, they really did know their shiznit when it comes to pigskin. I found it interesting that these un-Texan-biased football guys were so in-line with our conversations/thoughts around these parts.
