Houston Lebowski Fest
I am going to this with my youngest sister this evening.
http://lebowskihouston.wordpress.com/
I'm not sure if any BRB peeps are also Little Lebowski Urban Achievers, but if you are, I'd like to see you if you go.
I will be going as a nihilist. My sister will be a green robed Maude, with a wee Lebowski baby who has a goatee and is smoking a j.
I know it is late notice, but if you happen to see this, I'd love to see you.

Damn.
I saw this too late to attend. How was it? And kudos for being a Lebowski fan; i award you with ten billion awesome points.

Big Fun
I didn’t know about the Lebowski fest until late. But it was big fun.
The best part for me was watching the movie with a big group of people who were fans of the movie. Lots of antipatory laughter and applause.
MARK IT ZERO!

LOVE Lebowski!
I went to one of them while I was living in Los Angeles. Sooo much geeky fun.
I’ve seen that movie so many times, and I can’t pick a favorite line – but the one I often think of is “Also… dude… “Chinaman” is not the preferred nomenclature.”
STEPH YOU ARE ENTERING A WORLD OF PAIN!!

Say what you will about the tenets of modern socialism, dude.
At least it’s an ethos.

Also, “Clearly you’re not a golfer.”
Yay, sports.

Smokey, this is not Nam. This is bowling. There are rules.
There are too many good, almost throw away lines in that movie.
The Walters at the party were the most fun.
There was a remarkably good Jesus who was the DJ for the party.
The band that played dressed up like Autobahn.
It was quite a lot of fun to watch the movie with a lot of people who loved it. I love hanging out with people who love this movie. I do not get people who think it is boring.
One of my favorite things to do is to leave Jackie Treehorn-type drawings for the spouse to find.
This is worth infinite laughs.
