that with the opening of training camp less than 1 week away, we have signed only 3 of our 7 draft picks to contracts? Xavier Adibi (4th round), Dominique Barber (6th round) and Alex Brink (7th round) are in the fold, but the rest remain unsigned. The previous regime always signed all of the draft picks exceedingly early, but then the spending habits of Casserly can only be described as foolhardy. He overpaid for free agents and must have for the draft picks as well. Rick Smith is obviously head and shoulders above Casserly, but if Duane Brown, Antwaun Molden, Steve Slaton and Frank Okam are going to make significant contributions this year, then getting them into camp on time is a must.
