THE LEGION OF DOOM!!

I have been calling the Texans defense from last season D. O. M. as in DOMination! D-emeco ryans, amobe O-koye, and Mario williams. I did this because I believe that the Texans defense will be a dominate D. this season.
Texan Rob, a blogger who posts on www.chron.com had an even better idea. He took into account Frank Okam, the rookie defensive tackle from UT, and put Okam among the other names and came up with The Legion of DOOM, Demeco, Okoye, Okam, Mario. It's perfect, you have the first names of the bookends Demeco and Mario, which these guys should be for years and the last names of the younger guys. Okoye and Okam. Assuming Okam gets in the rotation, I think he will, this will be great nickname for The Texans Defense.
I'm just saying lets spread THE LEGION OF DOOM! and when the Texans get enough credit for being a football team in the NFL, even the national media will refer to them as THE LEGION OF DOOM!

Thanks Texan Rob!

I hope

Okam contributes early and often. That will make the DOOM gloss even more respectable. I must admit it’s hard for an Aggie (me) to prop up a ‘Horn like Okam, but for the sake of the Texans, I’ll deal with it.

Had to do it

So you're saying that now I have to think of some witty Sig that will be applicable across all the SBN sites? Go TexanHornStros!

Do we really need

...photos of the mentally challenged on BRB? Who are they, Raider fans? Those are both rhetorical questions. Of course we do, and of course they are. Aren’t they?

I'd like it better

if they were all on the same line together. WOOM and/or COOM doesn’t have the same ring to it, though.

Yay, sports.

You boys know I only drop in every couple of months...

...and this is what I find? Seriously? I honestly couldn’t be more embarrassed. You can now get on this blog and post ideas about what totally awesome nickname to bestow upon the Texans defense, and everybody plays right along? Shake…et tu brute? Didn’t this happen on John McClain’s blog last season right before he started shooting rap videos with Anna Megan every week? Allow me to answer my own question…yes, it did. Only McClain thought it would be super cute if we called them the “Raging Bull” defense. Oh, and he also recorded this kick-ass song entitled “Big Bad Schaub”. It was so f-ing sweet—i still get a “Raging Bull” hard-on every time I hear it.

Can we please put an end to this? I fear we are nearing a slippery slope—one that puts me behind the camera filming Tim & Scott as they perform “Amobi Got Back” in the Reliant Stadium parking lot.

“I like big butts and I can not lie
You other brothers can’t deny
That when Amobi walks in with an itty bitty waist
And a round thing in your face…”

Nobody needs to see that.

Comment of the Year?

If not, it’s damn close, primarily because of the visual I got of myself rapping “Amobi Got Back.”

Looking forward to a day when being a Texans fan doesn't mean that April is the highlight of my season...

It's not so much the nickname

It’s the thought of Mario & Amobi putting spikes on their shoulder pads.

The beauty lies in the sheer size of the picture

It truely is an awesome sight…

Thanks

for the heads up, Shake. Did I really use the phrase Heads Up Shake?
