This Blog Is Your Blog...This Blog Is My Blog...
We've been getting some great Fan Posts and Fan Shots here, and we want to recognize them. We'll be moving some of them to the main page so everyone can see and discuss them. Obviously, it'll be pretty subjective. If you think your Fan Post(s) merit the front page and they haven't made it there, e-mail us at battleredblog@gmail.com.
This community keeps growing, and we're working to bring you the best Texans coverage possible. The great part is that you're a part of that. The bigger and more engaged this community gets, the better coverage we can provide. When you break a story or have a fabulous insight, we want everyone to know.
It's because of you that agents listen when we call for interview requests. They know who you are.

In any case, this is a great blog!

Great Point
It”s true, we here at the BRB thrive on quality insight. That’s what separates us from your average message board. Your insight and comments are what drive this site, and if you have a point to make, feel free to use the fan post section.
Truth be told, we can’t do it alone. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, this site is for the fans and by the fans. If you have something you want to rant or rave about, put it in the fan post section.
Thank you all for your contributions, because without yall, this site would be nothing more than a couple of quips about the best team in Texas.
Bandwagon riders need not apply – this is for the diehard fan. Go Texans!

Could not say it better than SOLIS just did
so I won’t try.
I will just say that I am very happy that I found this place, because the quality of the contributing authors is vastly superior to the local print and on-air media. Thank you all for your time and effort.
GO TEXANS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I found BRB
About a year or so ago after I followed a link from faniq.com over here. Before that I was alone in the world in my support of the Texans, and here in San Antonio every local sportscaster has their nose so far up Jerry Jones backside that the Texans get nearly zero pub.
But with BRB I get to cyberhangout with other Texan fans and speculate on not only football, but really important things like the mental state of some of the fans, and the over/under on how long it takes BFD to lose coherency on game day. No, not really.

BFD...
You get my award for the most interesting profile photo. Two questions- who’s the babe, and don’t you just hate it when people take your picture without you knowing about it? Yeah, me too.

Bell will not make the Texans team unless we lose 2 HB's
Bell will not make the Texans roster. He is insurance in case we have a rash of injuries in TC and Pre Season. So far (knock on wood) we still have our original FIVE HB’s (Green,Brown,Slayton,Taylor,Walker) competing for a job. Green and Slayton are guaranteed a roster spot. Walker is eligable for the practice squad. Taylor is taking reps at FB so he won’t count as a HB if they want to keep him. I see this as a battle between Brown/Bell as they are BOTH injury prone and new to the Texans. Bell came in out of shape and is now nursing a hammy. Brown participated in all of OTA’s without incedent but was slowed by back spasms in TC. He is now on the field. Bell is not.
Side note: I watched the hall of fame game and neither Madden or Michaels were aware that Q. Grey was cut by the Texans this year. They said he was “floating around as a free agent” after last season.
