Just Maybe?

I'm at work, only have limited time so I wanted to say a few things prior to tonight's game. This is not posted on my personal blog so don't go looking......just kidding.

Anyway, is there a possibility that our Texans have been holding out on the cut blocking to avoid injuring opponent's in the preseason, so that is why our run game is suffering? Just Maybe?

The Pass rush, if you look at our D, you would think we should be getting some serious pass rush, but we aren't. Any chance we are holding back to allow opponent's to actually participate? Just Maybe?

I just want that nonsense to stop tonight, I know all the preseason doesn't count crap. But Dammnit we have to beat the Cow Patties!

I pray that we’re keeping blocking and defensive schemes close to the vest so as to avoid tipping off any regular season opponents. And with enough whiskey, I can convince myself of it.

Looking forward to a day when being a Texans fan doesn't mean that April is the highlight of my season...

I hate to crush your dreams

I don’t believe they’re holding anything back. I see plenty of attempted cut blocks on the backside during running plays. Unfortunately they’re just not getting in front of the defender or to the second level in time.

On defense, we’re not seeing a lot of blitzes but they are sending 5 from time to time, so they are trying to get pressure.

There simply hasn’t been any improvement in these two areas… yet.

Maybe and if

are two of the most loaded words in the english language. Lots of “X Files” type implications, with conspiracy theories, black helicopters and such. So, hell yes! It could be happening just that way!
