Pete Schrager of Fox Sports Says Houston Wins Wild Card Spot

Schrager has made your Houston Texans his official sleeper pick of 2008, predicting a wild card bid for the good guys (and just as interestingly, predicting that the Jags and Titans will not make the playoffs).

I like that mans logic

I never heard of him, but he’s obviously quite intelligent.

In all seriousness, I tried to figure out why he picked Denver for the wild card so I took a look at their schedule. The second half of the season is CUPCAKE for them.

Papas

Papas – In So. Tex vernacular – is food you feed a baby. Ergo, Denver’s schedule is pure papas.

Not sure what Pete Shrager is smoking but I want some...

wild card is not gonna happen for the Texans. No team in 4th place within a division can win a playoff spot. It’s mathematically impossible.

Are there five teams in the South now?

Because that’s the only way the Texans will be in fourth, as they are certainly going to finish above the Titans.

Yay, sports.

That is completely ludicrous

Obviously you are gonna finish in the cellar, and your season starts this weekend with a loss to Pittsburgh. Enjoy.

Yes, obviously.

Enjoy getting stomped into the ground by J’ville.

Yay, sports.
