And Then There Were 75...
You read that last one right. Plantar fascitis. The same ailment that Super Mario played through during his rookie season when everyone called him The Worst Draft Pick In The History Of Mankind. Sure, it can be a season-ending injury for other people, but it was just proof of Mario being overmatched in 2006.
Yeah, you could say I'm still a little bitter about that.

Yawn
since the league lowered the Training camp roster limit to 80 this cut date doesn’t mean a whole lot anymore. Honestly, what’s the point of it really? Does one week make a difference?

Agreed
With another cutdown to 53 coming this weekend, I really don’t see much need for this minimal cut. The last preseason game is where the bubble players get their final chance to impress, so cutting some of them days before the last preseason game seems pointless.
Mario on one good foot was an OK player. Mario on two good feet was a pro bowl player (even if he did not get voted in). Let’s hope Mario this year looks like the guy vs Denver rather than the guy vs Dallas.

I thought
Mario looked pretty good against Dallas, even if he didn’t have a sack. He’s about the only defensive player that I can say that about.

Agreed
Mario forced Tony Homo out of the pocket when he threw the interception to Diles.

He did.
Mario had a very good game against Dallas. The problem was that, other than Amobi for about 10 minutes, no one else on that line had any impact at all. Hard to do it all yourself.
Yay, sports.
