Texans Game Postponed!
As reported at HoustonTexans.com, the game between the Houston Texans and the Baltimore Ravens has been moved to Monday, 7:30 pm CST. This move was made to give all those along the gulf coast a chance to prepare for Hurricane Ike as it sets its sights on the Houston area.
Those in the Houston/Baltimore areas will be able to watch the games from the comfort of their own homes. Taken from the news release:
The Texans-Ravens Monday night game will be televised on local CBS stations in the primary and secondary markets of the Texans (Houston, Beaumont-Port Arthur, and Bryan, Texas) and the Ravens (Baltimore; Washington, DC; Salisbury, MD; and Harrisburg, PA).
I was hoping for the Texans game to be moved to San Antonio, but I think I was the only one. In any case, I have a feeling that this prime time showing will be as good as their last. Go Texans!

I'm at a loss...
Can the NFL Sunday ticket subscribers still see the game? Anyone in the know?

ESPN2
Is also carrying the game, in addition to the local CBS stations in H-Town and Baltimore. Texans fans living elsewhere, rejoice!
Looking forward to a day when being a Texans fan doesn't mean that April is the highlight of my season...

its not on the schedule for the deuce yet.
Where’d you see that? That is wonderful news if true. I’ll be in Indy on bidness.
Healthy and Turnover free 2008-09, and we win 11!

If ESPN2
has it I’ll be very surprised. Glad to see it, but surprised none the less. I can’t wait until Houston gets good enough to win consistently so they’ll be on TV in more markets, specifically the Cowboys ass-kissin’ town of San Antonio. It’s a great city except when the NFL is in season.
Have I ever mentioned how much I think the Dullass Cowtoys suck? Well, it can’t be mentioned enough. They suck, by the way.

Clearly there's only one solution for Austinites
Um… we all drive to Bryan and share a motel room together.
You know, to watch the game.

I'd rather drive in to houston
or to my parents place in the woodlands, than go to that itchy, sweaty butthole of a town. No offense to anyone who may live there.

but...
I do like that motel room suggestion, so long as copious amounts of ganja (name that movie reference!) are involved.
