Bryan Pittman: Why We Didn't Kick FGs Last Week?
According to Kubes, that's a big part of it. What's more, Pittman may be looking for work real soon. Kubes in today's Chronicle:
"He has struggled, not just last week, but he has had some rough snaps throughout the course of the last month," Kubiak said. "So we'll get him some extra work this week; even more than we give him normally. We're working the (tight end Clark) Harris kid also, who can snap, who's on our practice squad. So, it can't happen. It's got to be right."
Most of us have never understood the merits of keeping Pittman on the active roster when so many other Texans have the ability to long-snap, so it makes sense that Pittman's job security is at an all-time low. Keep an eye on him come Sunday; one bad snap sounds like it might be all it'll take to cost him his playbook.

It's a problem...
… but if he’s the reason they didn’t a field goal – if it was THAT bad – he would have been cut on Monday.
