Thank you for all the memories. Enjoy your day in the sun. As the years go by, your grace, skills and character stand out more and more. Thanks for what you did for Houston.
And thanks for crushing the Spurs. It's hard to argue against Wilt Chamberlain or Bill Russell being the greatest centers of all time, but in basketball Valhalla, you sit at the head table.

Hakeem will always have a special place in the hearts of Houston fans. We couldn’t possibly ask for a better represetative for the city of Houston in the Hall of Fame. He’s a champion in every way.
