Injury to Texans' Mike Brisiel Season-Ending
http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/fb/texansfront/6664525.html
"Right guard Mike Brisiel suffered a season-ending foot injury during Sunday's 28-21 loss at Arizona. Brisiel, 26, will join left guard Chester Pitts on injured reserve. Pitts is recovering from major knee surgery.
Kasey Studdard replaced Pitts. Rookie Antoine Caldwell and veteran Chris White will compete to see who will start for Brisiel, who played every snap last season when the Texans averaged 115.4 yards rushing per game and 4.3 yards per carry."
So I guess we'll get to see Caldwell now.

Wow.
I knew he had a foot injury, but since he played through the game I thought he would recover. I hope Caldwell or White can step up and get this running game going.

but...
When are we going to activate Antonio Smith?
/what’s that… he’s been playing? Really? Are you sure??

He inherited
Anthony Weaver’s corpsehood.

Smith has been a huge upgrade over Weaver
Go check out the safety against Oakland. Without Smith it doesn’t happen.
He hasn’t been the next Al Haynesworth, but he’s been a huge upgrade, imo.

and who is our other defensive tackle?
i know we play a 4-3 but on any given play i can only recall 3 names. If we just release the other defensive tackle – whoever he is, could we get a discount on beer at the stadium by removing the cap space.

there is no definite #2 DT
they just rotate in between Deljuan Robinson, Shaun Cody, Frank Okam, & Jeff Zgonina

More Chris White.

I guess this means the Texans are gonna make some moves
whether it’s trading for someone or picking up a free agent, they’ll make some sort of move. Hopefully some of those moves include cutting Chris Brown & finding a real short yardage/goal line back.
