Around SBN: Has Kentucky Improved Since the Non-Conference Season?

Really enjoyed this piece in the print edition of SI this week. After reading it, I think you'll appreciate Zgonina far more than you do now.

what's funny is...

we have a lot of players who have great stories. Chester, Jacoby, and a lot more. which makes rootin’ for em so easy. never knew Jeff’s back story, that was an excellent read. also, i loved the part about the rituals, specially the part about the blueberry donuts (im a cinammon roll guy on gameday) dunno if u guys say that poll over on MCM about the towel stomping incident, but i thought it was funny that their readers didn’t feel like that had anything to do with their losing streak. rituals and curses and stuff like that IS a part of football, if only in the player’s mind. guess when you “inherit” a team, that stuff is lost on you. but us Houston fans know all to well about it. which is why we’re so damn suspicious.

The towel stomping maybe isn’t why they are losing, but it was a great indication of the class(or gigantic lack thereof) that they have.

What Buckeye Brad said...

“Please stop posting the same comment over and over again. That’s not what this blog is used for. We welcome your comments about football but repeatedly posting “Who-dey” is not constructive."

Note to self: Insert something witty here.
