Okam Starting v.s Bengals
Frank Okam, who has been inactive for the last three games, will start at defensive tackle on Sunday when the Texans play Cincinnati at Paul Brown Stadium.
Shaun Cody, the starter at left defensive tackle, is out with the flu. He missed three practices last week.
Because Cincinnati running back Cedric Benson leads the NFL in rushing and gains a lot of yardage between the tackles, the 6-5, 338-pound Okam will play on the nose on running downs next to right tackle Amobi Okoye.

Uhhh...
Not that Cody’s been earth-shatteringly good, but I’m a wee bit concerned about a dude who hasn’t been good enough to dress the last three weeks now being counted on to start.
Looking forward to a day when being a Texans fan doesn't mean that April is the highlight of my season...

Ugh...
Well…who knows? I had a coach once who could jack up a big guy’s head and get his motor running. The little engine that could be Frank Okam needs to awaken and get mean. Once he realizes that he needs to just get mean in there and start disrupting to the point that other teams need to double or triple team him, then we will start the business of winning consistantly. The question remains: can Frank get it going?

Is Your Coach Available For Hire?
Because Okam could use that guy.
