They played really well today. The Bengals just could not stop those screens or get to Schaub. Both of these are surprising – you guys exposed some holes.

Can’t take anything away from the game the Texans played; they schooled us on our own field.

What to say about today

Cushing was a star. Barwin notched his first sack. In my mind, Frenchy was one of the unsung heroes today. Cincy barely threw to him, and he did a very good job on those few times that the ball came his way. That meant that Palmer really had one option in the WR corps. Unfortunately Dunta sucks (other than the nice hit he put on) but it’s better than having two leaky sieves at CB.

Offensively we looked pretty good, but I got a bit nervous when we couldn’t get at least three more points on the board. Fortunately, with the way our defense played, it didn’t matter.

Also, to anyone who wants to say bad things about teh Schaub… don’t.

That sentiment always bugged me anyways

Dan Marino was one of if not the most talented QBs ever to play in the league, yet he was never really part of a consistently good team. Esiason was a good QB, but apart from 2 winning seasons I believe he was on losing teams his entire career. And I guess Elway didn’t become a “good” QB untill he was in his last years and his arm was falling off his body.

Being a good QB should be all it takes to be considered a “good” QB, we don’t penalize players of other positions for the team around them, it shouldn’t be any different for QBs. Barry Sanders was the most explosive, amazing playmaker anyone had seen, yet he never won jack with the Lions.

this was going to be a good game. the texans executed well and destroyed us. andre johnson was a beast. our tackling was horrible. and both our TEs should be cut. good game. and good luck for the rest of the season. i hope you can play like this all year.

i won’t cry injury bug, but odom blocked a kick and then was out for the game. i think if he was in, the difference would have been massive.

That was fun to watch

Matt Schaub looked great today! 28-40, 392 yards, 4 TD’s, and of course his 1 Int per game, lol!

I hated the pick but he redeemed himself in the second half.

Slaton is really starting to worry me, something has got to be done about his fumling issues.

This was a big win today. I still believe that Cincy was overrated but a win is win. 3-3 isn’t what I expected to this point but being .500 is better than being under .500 at this point.

- Cushing was the right pick. Regardless of the goofy pics, steroid accusations and USC, east coast bias thing. I have been reading about him since he played at Bergen Catholic in NJ and he is as intense now as he was then. He hits, claws and wraps his arms. He is quite simply, a football player.
