WTF??
Well guys/gals, I attended my 2nd Texans and it was a helluva lot better than the Buffalo game in '06. The Texans showed that they can flat dominant a game in the first half and they should that they are the Texans in the second half. When it came to the Testicular Lacerating, The Texans salvaged their own nuts and made the plays to win the game. 4-3 aint too shabby, especially after the Jets game.
Couple things made me say WTF?
Instantrage(chris) and myself arrived at the Yellow Lot around 0830. We strolled around beer(s) in hand. Hoptober, Oktoberfest, Christmas( St. Arnolds), and Fattire were the beverages of choice. We went to several tailgaters and asked about BRB, but we had no luck finding any of you guys WTF? There must be part of that Lot we didn't go to, but we got well medicated and found a guy that makes his own brew and scored free food from him as well so the Tailgating Rocked.
We were seated in the 320 section, the sunny end. These two Jack wads behind us kept getting mad and telling us to sit down until something exciting happened, WTF? They were supposedly Texans fans, but kept saying shit like, " we could see the game if you would sit down" Fuk that, I'm at my 2nd Texans game ever and Mario gets a sack on the first play and you want me to sit.....WTF? Well, we basically ignored those Asswipes, and the 2nd half pretty much kept us in our seats anyway. Which brings me to another WTF?
When the niners were making thier comeback on our end and were in the redzone, the people on that level refused to get up and cheer and be loud! WFT? They sat there with fukin hands in lap and looked at us funny when we stood. Then when Wilson makes the int., it was like " finally we can go" and they jumped up and scurried out...WTF?
As for Rage and I we had a drunken blast and I called the 4-3 when we were 2-3, GOTTA KEEP IT ROLLIN' TEXANS!!!!!......
if not........WTF????

I know the feeling, I live on the east coast right now so I can only treat myself to 1 game this year.

to be fair
Northeast Ohio isn’t much of a better place to be a Browns fan.

Texans fans, for the most part, are of the wine and cheese crowd.
I hate it, and it’s sad – but it’s true.
It’s strange, too – because when my family and I had season tickets during the Run’n Shoot era – those crowds were rowdy, loud, and stood for prolonged amounts of time.

I would have to agree, for alot of ‘fans’ their expectations are unrealistic 100% mistake free football, which is just not going to happen at this level. The other team gets paid to make plays too. For me of course I want them to win, but being a fan is about being entertained and supportive of the club that represents my hometown. SO much more goes into that than just “win by 40 points every game or I hate your face”. Some of the things these guys do in the community is reason enough to cheer for them imo.

Wine & Cheese?
According to Jerry Jones, we are the checkered-tablecloth crowd

I quit attending Rockets games for that reason.
People always told me to sit down and be quiet. Even at playoff games.

I've Had The Same Problem, Maniac
With people behind me telling me that I shouldn’t get up and cheer a good play. I tell those folks that they’re welcome to watch the game from the comfort of their couch if they don’t want to deal with people celebrating good plays and cheering the team on.
The sad truth is that on several levels (including but not limited to the club level, where your seats were), the people who attend the games do not live and die with the team. They’re there because it’s something to do, or they got the tickets for free, or something of that ilk. Nothing wrong with that, of course, but that malaise doesn’t give them a right to complain about those of us who think that expressing emotion at a football game is the norm and not a breach of etiquette.
Next time you’re in town, shoot me an e-mail. I’ll make it a point to find you and buy you a beer.
Looking forward to a day when being a Texans fan doesn't mean that April is the highlight of my season...

It’s where the party is at!
I forgot to tell Chris where I was gonna be!
And when the briskets/chicken/sausages/fajitas/burgers/hotdogs start cooking and the scent of BBQ starts dominating the air, you just forget about everything. Your priorities goes down the shitter and is replaced the this list.
1.Texans/Beer
2.Food/Beer.
3.Beer.
4.Beer.

Yea I was.
Sometimes I drive in Sunday morning’s and don’t get to tailgate. But I came in town Sat. night so I would’nt miss out on the festivities. And I took off work the Monday of the Titans game, and requested off the next day too, so I can just stay out there all day and night.
