Trent Edwards already ruled out for week 8

http://blogs.buffalonews.com/billboard/2009/10/breaking-news-fitzpatrick-to-start-against-texans.html

Looks like they might be doing us a favor announcing it this early, now our guys dont have to split practice reps preparing for 2 different QBs. Even if they do at least theres still film on both so hopefully they cant pull an Alex Smith on us. Their offense isnt clicking too well to begin with, so I'm hoping for another good game from our defensive unit.

I just hope that

Andre is okay to play against them.

Although I have no doubt that at least ONE of our receivers will finish the day with better stats than Terrel Owens.

Andre Davis has proven himself

That guy is very capable of snagging Schaubs passes for a game or two while AJ nurses back to health, if that’s what it takes.

I suppose if all of the stars, moons and planets align it could be possible, but what are the chances of that?

yea

if there was a ‘good time’ to be injured, it’s against the Bills. I know anything can happen any sunday but i mean… it coulda been a team like the Saints or Steelers ya know?

Looking forward to not having an 8-8 year!

Agreed

Apostrophe and Jacoby (shock) should be able to get us through the Bills game. I’d rather have AJ fully healthy against the Colts, and then head into the bye-week.

So you're saying that now I have to think of some witty Sig that will be applicable across all the SBN sites? Go TexanHornStroKets!

would you have been worried about Alex Smith?

There’s my answer: always worried.

Texan fear factor

I can’t seem to grasp all the different Texan teams I have seen this season!!! First they scare you by showing up a day late at the Jets game(also the Saints but as they say “this is just pre-season”). The Texans then come out and kill a so-called contending team; little did anyone know at the time Tenn. suked big time!! Next they get a couple games where they can’t make a 1 yard pick up for a score or first to lock up the game? They then play in games that they can’t make a play in first half and can’t miss one in the second half Now we come off a game that we have locked up in first half by three, thats THREE TOUCHDOWNS, and we go into our non-existant prevent def.(or at least thats what they would like all to believe) and damned near loose a certain win in the last half because we flat forgot how to play football def.. I tell you the Texans could make the POPE give up religion and make ME take it up!!!!

Bills fan here

Sounds like the Texans are treating you guys exactly the same as the Bills are treating us. They show up on monday night and lose to the Patriots because of a freak fumble. They had that game all but wrapped up. Then they crush the Bucs (ok, I know, it’s the Bucs). Their D holds New Orleans in check for the better part of 50 minutes while the offense sits in the locker room. They get embarassed at home by the Browns, 6-3. Then they go on the road, collect 6 INTS in the Meadowlands, and win in overtime over the Jets. Lastly, they go to Carolina, get run all over, but grab 3 INTS, two of which set up TDs, and beat Carolina 20-9.

I guess all I’m saying is, we feel your pain!

Trample the weak, hurdle the dead!
