Bitch, Bitch, Bitch

It's a win.  Sure it's the Raiders, but it's a win.  Quit yer bitchin' commenters.

The offense was running the clock out in the second half.  Settle down.  No, it's not a testament to how we've turned things around because it's the Raiders, but our offense is not our worry.  Quit yer bitchin'.

Perfect Title!

I got on yesterday after the game to read the comments and shit, you would have thought we lost the way people were bagging on the Texans. I didn’t even want to post after reading that crap. It was a great win and I’ll take it. Now we need to go and do it again next this week.

Was nice to see Okoye

show up and contribute. And was nice to see Pollard laying some big hits. And Cushing is adding a mean streak to our defense I like.

it's only.......

a couple of guys. i guess they live in a world where everything is negative…. and no matter if the texans win by 2 or 20 they are gonna find something wrong with the win.

this team has too much potential

to not bitch about this win. if we play like that the rest of the season, the only thing that W is gonna give us is a worse draft position. (not that i want to lose for draft purposes, so dont say that) even though we put up 29, that was not a good performance by a stubborn offensive coordinator. when you get a sack fumble at the opponents 20 and have to kick a field goal, thats not gonna put away good teams and it destroys any momentum you might have gained. i am pretty happy with the defense though. even if it was the raiders they did what they were supposed to do defensively.

It destroyed momentum so bad the raiders failed to score afterwards. Seriously when you are winning by 3 scores and the other team is as inept at throwing the ball at the raiders there is ZERO point to try to run up the score.

its not about running up the score

its about makign sure you win and gaining momentum. with the worst defense in the league, you dont have the luxury of taking a quarter and a half off. oakland beat us last year no reason why they couldnt step it up

Again, we never gave them any momentum. We won by 3 scores. Watching the game I could think of a million reasons why the raiders couldn’t step it up. I know its hard not to freak out when this team is so inconsistent, but that game was way over with 9 minutes left in the 3rd.

I was pissed....

that more points were not scored, but Kubiak sold me with the " we didn’t want to hurt ourselves bit"…so I’m good now.

GO TEXANS!!!!

This is the year.......

I was very impressed with the defense

no matter who they played, they did a fantastic job.

The players on the offensive side had a very impressive effort also.

I question the play calling in the second half. Not a hater, just hoping we can turn this ship around.

Yesterday was a step in the right direction.

Smushiak will take us to the playoffs in 2009.

Run D

SportsMumboJumbo.com
The run D is the aspect of the Texans that was most exciting to watch Sunday, look at McFadden;s stats!
