Um, why did it take the refs 90 seconds to make that call?

Obvious neutral zone infraction – even if Winston added some solid acting.

The refs
Are trying to help us score. We just can’t help our selves.
Almost picked again.

I hate
when he throws to the comeback route on the sideline. Hate it.

The Rams are epic.
Interception for a safety.
If they lose to Detroit today, they might go 0-16.
Is that game on somewhere?
My condolences.

Ouch. I love Smith from the tackle spot.

Yeah
Pressure up the middle…blows my mind.
Why don't they turn it over?
It’s great fun. Can’t they see we’re having a blast over here?
Jackson
Is an upgrade over Lynch for them, they ought to leave him in.
NFL.com has that as a full sack for Antonio Smith

They are...
But not for this type of game. Offensively, this is a nightmare match-up for us. And losing OD certainly didn’t help matters. They’ve gotta find a way to run it, because Schaub isn’t going to win this one for us.
I'll call it first
Schaub on a 90 yard scramble for TD, They stop the play midway to let everyone catch their breaths then continue after commercial break
Who was that to, Matt?

I think it's time
For some Vonta Leach screen passes
I'm not surprised
Maybe we need to call a screen and send Winston downfield to flatten Byrd

Also effective:
The above-mentioned Vonta Leach screen pass.
I think Slaton my be done for the day.

What can Brown do for you?
Seriously, I can’t think of anything.
(Not convert goal line opps)
- Rivers McCown, From Mom's Basement
He's a change of pace back!
When you’re moving the ball at about 5 yards a clip with Moats, sometimes you’ve gotta mix it up and throw in Chris Brown for a one-yard dive.
Kubiak knows QB's
but hopefully he’s dead wrong on RB’s
and Moats is really a stud, cuz it looks like he’s our new RB1.
Smushiak will take us to the playoffs in 2009.
Chris Brown is Garbage.
Newsflash, right?

Drop Slaton to #2

I see red zone probs
if Schaub is scerred of their secondary
Smushiak will take us to the playoffs in 2009.
Eh...
I’d take the points. We don’t have their defense figured out yet. I’d rather get within one and hope for half-time adjustments to get rolling.
kick the FG
make it a 1 point game, our defense is playing them well, no reason to think we need 7 right now.
lucky number
all these 21’s are a good sign.

Two minutes before the half...
I’d go for it. We probably won’t get the ball again and it leaves a very long field for them.
by distant_texans_fan on Nov 1, 2009 1:08 PM CST reply actions
Normally I would go kick the FG
But:
1 – We aren’t having problems moving the ball.
2 – We need to get six to make up for one of those turnovers.
Of course the smart call is FG, but it’s not like they’re stuffing us on defense.
Chris - www.HoustonDiehards.com
Obviously the FG is the SMART thing to do.
But why start doing the Smart thing at this point of the season.

Their D is notably bad against the run. I go for it.

I've seen the left side of our o-line
get all blowed up by these Bills.
I hope is a sneak, or run right
Smushiak will take us to the playoffs in 2009.
But our offense...
Is notably bad at running. It’s like when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object, except the opposite.
We're going for a FG
I’d rather not, but it’s probably the right call.
Chris - www.HoustonDiehards.com
On second thought
If we did go for it maybe we could’ve run some clock so they have less time to move the ball downfield on our end-of-half-crap-zone
- Rivers McCown, From Mom's Basement
Indeed sir.
I’m hoping that trend is starting to come to an end.
Chris - www.HoustonDiehards.com
by HoustonDiehards on Nov 1, 2009 1:10 PM CST up reply actions
I think Kubes knows the Bills aren't goign to be stopping our offense
Only our offense can stop our offense today. So I can’t say I hate that call even though I would have gone for it.
Chris - www.HoustonDiehards.com
No complaints.
Still time for a stop and a chance to get the ball-back with a minute or so. Let’s go, end of the half defense.
Yay
now we need Super Mario to snatch the ball from Fitz
We're doubling them in yards
and are up near 6 minutes in time of possession… Fact is if not for the three turnovers we’re probably comfortably ahead right now. No need to panic.
Sadly, they won like that last week.
167 total yards of offense. Turnovers… They’ll get ya.
But McClain said..
That our ST was better than theirs. How could that happen?

Western Michican highlights.
And yes, I had to google him to remember where he went to college.
If we hold them
to a FG here…we just need to get out of the half
Or we could.. you know...
let them get a first down to help us run the clock out.

Our evil plan failed.

We always play
Down to our opponents. It pisses me off.
Ah, shit.
Believe it or not, I actually thought for a second that we were going to get out of this down 10-6. What a fool I was…

Miracle of Jesus!
Matt Forte has scored a touchdown! Why aren’t all the networks covering this?
Chris - www.HoustonDiehards.com
That pick
Is finally paying off then. I start him every week, with endless disappointment.
Well, it will pay off today
I have him in a couple of leagues too.
Check this out though – who does he play in week 16, when most leagues have their championship game? Vikings. UGH.

i believe it whoever replaced moats with Chris Brown on that last drive is a dumbass and we prolly would have a td instead of a field goal.
Yep, Brown is worthless.

Typical Texans game....
Last week they showed up for the first half…..so, that means this week they show up in the second half.
This is getting old.
