without the moats fumble...
we most likely would’ve been three for three. so at the very least, we can safely say at this point that the red zone issues (for the most part) have been addressed.

Agreed
Much better than last season. Big issue so far this season, not scoring on opening drives. Koobs scripts the first 15 plays, and the offense doesn’t seem to start functioning until the 2nd quarter. He seems to be trying different things to start games but nothing seems to be working.

ditch the script!!!!!!!!!
we started out with 3 STRAIGHT PASSES. i thought we use the run to set up the pass?!?!? sounds like a case of Koob out thinking himself.

Its strange to me
because last year we were good at marching down and scoring to start the game. This year we haven’t scored once on opening drives, and usually go 3 and out. So is Koob scripting the first 15 this year or is it Baby Shan ?

According to Kubiak yesterday they script the first 15 or so, however they can leave that script at any point.
Kubiak mentioned that they left the script after 7 plays in the Indy game.
The idea with scripting he said is so that every player knows exactly what to do for the first 15 plays. The idea being no mistakes and they can focus on their roles starting saturday night.
