Veterans Day

Today is a very special day to me.  As a Veteran, it reminds me that I am one of the lucky ones.  A lot of guys get to be remembered today, I'm lucky to be one the one who GETS to remember.

God Bless this great nation and all of her fighting men and women.

If you have the urge to do something for Veterans, there is a group called Impact A Hero that began here in Houston but is now nationwide that could use your support.

It is a great organization and the TEXANS are a supporting members.  In fact, I have met more Texan's players through my incvolvement with Impact A Hero than anywhere else.

Also if you get involved, they have a really awesome Gala in the spring that is a blast to attend.  Lots of Texans, auctions of tons of sports memorabilia (I lost out last year on an autographed Jerry Rice jersey at the last second literally) and you get to meet alot of wounded vets and hear their stories.

So if you have the urge to donate, or volunteer, or just want to say thanks to a wounded Veteran, check out http://www.impactahero.org/ .

Go Army!

Thanks to all who have served.

If the Treasury Secretary doesn't have to pay taxes, then why do I?

We’ve got a lot of active military and veterans in the community here. Thanks for all that you do.

Looking forward to a day when being a Texans fan doesn't mean that April is the highlight of my season...

But it would be better with one of your hot chicks in it. I love the American Flag, but I still love boobies more.

As a vet myself, Im very happy with the support today’s generation shows for servicemen. They should never be treated like my parents generation treated guys coming back from Nam. Now I just need to figure out why my damn wife’s school didnt observe veteran’s day yesterday.
