Texans Promote Arian Foster, Place Nading On Waivers
Larry Johnson? No. Edgerrin James? Negative. But it was clear the coaching staff is frustrated by the abysmal running game so far this season. Therefore, the team has promoted undrafted free agent signee Arian Foster from their practice squad. To make room for him, the team has placed DE Jesse Nading on waivers.
Thoughts?

Nading actually played some really good snaps against the Colts
I was somewhat impressed and would’ve liked to see more of him.
Why the team chose to keep Chris Brown instead of him is a bit of a head scratcher.

I still think Chris Brown has pictures of Gary Kubiak cheating on his wife or something…

I've said before that Foster's reputation for being prone to fumbles is a little unfair
His ratio of fumbles to carries really wasn’t bad at all, it’s just that the few fumbles he had were in pivitol moments in big games so stick with him longer. To me it just looked like a RB playing with next to no supporting cast and his team needing a big play and taking it all on himself and taking risks with the football as a result. People rag on Foster for his falloff in production in his last year, but tennessee in general was just God-awful offensively that year, no RB in the country would have looked good behind that line.

I’m not so sure this is a good thing. He wouldn’t just fumble for the vols, he would fumble at the worst times… But one things for certain, he will most definitely fit in.
