If you wanna have some good old fashioned smack talk leading up to the showdown between the Texans and Colts this is the place. BBS has no power on this thread so feel free to discuss whatever you want, there will be no unecessary threats here. Make your predictions for the game this Sunday, all opinions are welcome. I predict a Texans victory 24-21 in a close game in Indy.

I was going to post something earlier, but Peyton ran into my office and smashed his cinder-block forehead into my laptop….crushing it into tiny pieces.
Then right after that, he just stood there and delivered a 1-line statement about how he uses Head & Shoulders, like he thought he was taping another uninspiring commercial. It was just fucking weird.

Colts win
28-13. the Colts D is on fire the last several weeks, and Houston’s suspect running game will force them to pass. That’s when it all goes downhill for them, as Freeney and Mathis feast on Scobb.
I like Houston, but personally I feel that they are tooled in a way that is a big advantage to the Colts. You have to have a strong defense and strong running game to beat them, imo, and passing offenses generally do not fare well against the Colts (simply because the Defensive ends are amazing, and teams cannot keep up with Peyton & Co. on offense).

uhm…you do realize we have the most passing yards in the league and the passing game IS our main strength….
“Forcing us to pass” is about as good of a game strategy as “Force Adrian Petersen into the open field”.

I know this, but also realize that stopping the pass and pass rush are the Colts’ strongest defensive suits as well. It will be very interesting to see how it plays out. I know the Cardinals haven’t been as good as the Texans this year, but offensively they have a good pass attack and suspect running game, very similar from what I’ve seen of the Texans, and they were handled by the Colts D.
Our line has played better then the Cards. Outside of the first game they have done a commendable job keeping Schuab on his feet.
Don't worry...
Dwight Freeney will do a commendable job of keeping Shab on his feet, too. See, he usually likes to hold up the QB just long enough for Robert Mathis to sprint in to turn him into the meat in what we like to call the Freeney/Mathis sandwich. Unfortunately, this usually results in the QB releasing the ball and sometimes his bowels as well…
Just in case, you might want to get old Chob some of these for the game.

the bad part is that our Texans schedule strength differential (1st to 2nd half of the season) shows the same trend.
