OT: How 'bout them Coogs!!!!
I had my head burried into a bar stool at B-dubs in the Woodlands. Keenum had just been sacked on a two-point conversion and the Cougars dream season had all but been written off. I turned to my wife for a bit of consoling when I saw her eyes get as big as Steve Slaton's number of fumbles. She simply shouted, "WE GOT THE BALL!". I was like, "What?". No fucking way. We recovered the improbable onside kick. :19 seconds left and Keenum throws two quick strikes for a total of 27 yards to setup an even more improbable 51 yard field goal attempt from a redshirt freshman who was wearing street clothes 3 weeks ago. Keenum gives Hoague a long distunguished look and then calls for the snap. Place is good, kick is long and straght. Game Over. UH eeks out the most unlikely of victories against Tulsa. We still have less than zero chance at a BCS bid but our hopes of a top 10 ranking at the end of the season is still a good possibility.
I'm proud to be an alum of the mighty Coogs tonight. Congrats, fellas. You deserver this one. Enjoy it.

Thank you for brightening a depressing Sunday.
I threw my phone down when we didnt convert for two, and went to bed thinking we had lost.

At least there seems to be two teams in Houston with some swagger
The Rockets & The Cougars. The Cougars have been clutch this year & they just go down the field with the mindset that they know they will score no matter the situation. If only some of that could rub off on the Texans, then I would be really happy. Also if he ain’t by now, Case Keenum should be near the top of the Heisman discussion.
I would challenge you to a battle of wits, but you appear to be unarmed.

If Case Keeps It Up
And isn’t invited to NY, that will be a travesty.
Looking forward to a day when being a Texans fan doesn't mean that April is the highlight of my season...
