Manning

25 attempts in the first quarter. Maybe his arm will get tired or something.

by cubic on Nov 8, 2009 12:45 PM CST reply actions

Our defensive game plan is FAILURE.

GET IN MANNING FACE.

4 man rush against Manning….ARE YOU STUPID?

If you are going to let him nickel and dime you, at least go down swinging.

The D isn't really doing that bad...

Peyton is not getting much time to do more than dump it. His down field throws are wobbly. You can see the D getting pumped. When Peyton tries to go for more than the dump off to Clark, he’s under heavy pressure. Second half will see himi go down. If the O will get it together and just play their game, we can stay in this one.

As badly as we played that first half, we are still in close range, score-wise.

by SBond on Nov 8, 2009 1:45 PM CST up reply actions

It's true

The D has bent, but not broken. They’ve made enough plays to keep us in this, which is a miracle all by itself.

Hopefully we can make this a game in the second half. I wasn’t expecting us to win, but I expect us to play like a fucking football team.

Speaking of, where’s Mike Clark?

Somehow

We are still in this game.

And somehow, 805 walks upright.

Kris Brown!

The fact that we’re down only 10 is amazing.

Looking forward to a day when being a Texans fan doesn't mean that April is the highlight of my season...

by Tim on Nov 8, 2009 1:37 PM CST reply actions

Ya it's amazing that despite the HORRIBAD TERRISUCK play of the Texans, we are only down 10 and get the ball back to start the half.

We have been a second half team all year…now is the time to prove it.

That wasn't a ray of hope...it was Peyton Mannings Laser Targeting System aligning for the second half.

Of course getting the ball back means we have to find a running back THAT DOESNT AUTOMATICALLY FUMBLE INSIDE THE 5!!!

The defense...

Is playing a fuckin’ game right now. Three of their points came off of a turnover, and they’ve held up despite the offense being unable to sustain a drive.

Well-played boys (particularly Quin and Pollard).

by Nashmeister on Nov 8, 2009 1:39 PM CST reply actions

If there is going to be any hope

The Texans may want to consider finding a defensive back for Dallas Clark in the second half.

The Texans

Need to put together an entire game. Win or lose in this game there are serious issues with inconsistency within the game.

Welcome to every game.

I think we have established that we are a ONE half team.

Maybe

we were just luring the colts into thinking they will win. Our offense shows up in the second half.. Some adjustments on defense and we’ll win!

Nice 1st half guys

penalties are killing you, but the Texans are a tough team. This game is FAR from over!

Hopefully we can quit trying to beat ourselves...

Beating the Colts has been damn near impossible for us in the past – doesn’t help that we’re killing ourselves with penalties and turnovers.

Peyton Manning’s arm is going to fall off if he passes much more, and the Colts can’t run on our defense. So, hey, maybe?

Anyone notice that every time Wayne catches the ball he is double covered but both Dunta +Safety are 5 yards away....

FFS IF YOU ARE DOUBLE COVERING HIM HOW ABOUT ONE OF YOU GETS NEAR HIM?
