2 Yards and a Hike away from 8-1

Kind of Frusturating...Ain't it? 2 simple yards from chris brown and if schaub yells hike instead of letting the 2 minute warning come, and then getting a call reversed, and we can be 8-1...sounds alot better then 5-4 now...but those 2 yards and a Hike, are the difference between superbowl contenders, and just regular playoff contenders, nothing more nothing less...

Need another 9 words, sooo....Texans v.s. Colts was like Rocket's v.s. Jazz...REFS!

Even if we get the 2 yards...

we would only have been tied in each game. Yes, we could have won both of them in overtime, but we also could have lost them both. Yes, it sucks but thats the NFL. There are games that you will win no matter what, games that you will lose no matter what, and games that can go either way. Great teams win a majority of the 50/50 games and we just arent there yet.

Relax, realize that your Texans showed their “nuts of competitiveness,” and take a peak at the upcoming schedule, its pretty.

I wouldn't mind being 8-1

But 5-4 is probably a more accurate reflection of where this team is right now. If we stay focused we can win nine games, maybe ten. But it’s not going to be easy.

No, we really aren't

I appreciate your enthusiasm, but this is just not an accurate portrayal.

Also, everyone who gives this argument seems to forget that we are just a Vodka Collins’ fumble away from being winless in the division.

Truth

This team has great players but poor decision makers.

Just have to hope next year we will have learned from our mistakes and manage games better.

We had four toss-up games:

Arizona, Tennessee, Indy, and Jacksonville. A good team wins half of those; we’re a game behind where we aught to be.

6 points

I nearly lost my mind when we didn’t hike the ball after that fumble. When a play has even a chance to be reviewed and go against you – hike the fucking ball! That’s a lesson we never seem to learn. That’s at least 3 points.
The penalties on defense that allowed Indy into F.G. range – at least once, if not twice – is another 3.
That’s game.
I saw on another thread that some were pissed at Kris Brown. He’s fairly consistent, but you can’t expect him to be perfect. Should he have made it? Absolutely. But the game shouldn’t have hinged on a F.G. to take us to overtime. JMIO.

i wasn't saying we should be 8-1...

i know that we are a 5-4 team…we dont deserve to be 8-1, we haven’tr played like an 8-1 team…i was just saying what could have been…

colts are 8-0 because that kicker missed a 48 yard feild goal.. i mean the game is on the line and the dude just choked..

Nah, we should have never put ourselves in that position.

If we had showed up inn the first quarter, we wouldn’t have needed a field goal to send the game to overtime.

Was closer to 41 yards.

Colts defense is bailing out Peitan Manung and the offense.
