Larry Johnson, formerly of the KC Chiefs (take the poll)
I think the Texans should sign him! They have two weeks to get him into the game plan before Monday Night against the Tennesee Titans. He brings pedigree, size and some other unmentionable baggage. But, he is a football player. I think he takes Chris Brown's spot on the active roster. What else can you say about him? He is sour personality and guilty of violent acts against women. Michael Vick is getting a second chance. Why not Larry Johnson?

Nice
But what about the “No?”

the no should be replaced by a punch in the dick.

SOmetimes a change of locale and some good people around you can change a player......Cedric Benson anyone?
I say work him out at least. You can always drop him if he becomes a distraction.

unless he can play guard or center, hes not going to make a difference.

What about the Pollard connection?
Is that something that can be used to the Texans advantage here?
I suppose if all of the stars, moons and planets align it could be possible, but what are the chances of that?

what do you mean? Johnson has to go thru the legal wavier process. Wait and see if anyone before us claims him first.

Here's the latest on that
Johnson is almost certain to clear waivers, because a team that claims him would have to pay his salary of more than $2 million, which the Chiefs will pay if he is not picked up. But if he clears waivers and a team signs him, Johnson will still collect his salary from the Chiefs in addition to whatever he makes with his new team.

Benson is a whole different beast. Two arrests that seemed a bit odd vs 4 times being arrested for violence against women, not to mention calling out your coach the way LJ did. Do you really want a fuckstick like him fucking with the locker room.

What would you do to make the playoffs, is what we should be asking...

I might be the minority here, but my support is not solely based on winning at all costs. I support them because they represent my hometown, the work they do in the community, and the role models they are for my kids. I dont want to sacrifice those values just to win a game that only gives me bragging rights, not a paycheck. I would rather not have to explain to my kid why his favorite player wants to drive drunk or beat up women.

Not support someone who is most likely going to go to a bar the second his plane lands and find a woman to beat on. If the team signed him I would be over this organization.

The only reason I would even consider it...
is if NE, Indy, and San Diego were……then maybe I would. Big MAYBE.

San Diego is a team full of fucksticks like LJ, they are a terrible example of a team to emulate.

No.
Like what Chris said on his blog.
The man is poison.
And the “Cedric Benson was able to revive his career with another team” angle doesn’t apply here. Benson never had a shot with the Bears. Johnson had the glory for a couple of years but he pissed it all away.

Plus - the Ced Benson comparison doesn't even make sense.
Apples and oranges.

Just for the pure joy of advocating for the devil...
After vomiting out “the good” of VY winning games, I might as well be the first to dust off the welcome mat old, what do you call him, f*ckstick? So, here’s my case for F*ckstick.
F*ckstick is a great nickname, "Schaub drops back, hands off to F*ckstick, OH NO! F*ckstick runs it THROUGH the endzone, into the crowd and proceeds to beat up a woman for her beer. We’d all be like, “Oh F*ckstick!! Not Again!” Then the camera zooms in, F*ckstick turns to the camera smiles sheepishly and shrugs, (que wacky sound effect) everyone starts laughing…Close scene.
Now that is a picture perfect ending, if I’ve ever imagined one!
“I rest my case”….Sorry, I mean, “Case Closed!”

LJ WILL BE A TEXANS BEFORE NOVEMBER 19, 2009...
Larry Johnson will sign with the Texans NLT 11/19…and he will have a huge impact on the run game especially during the “PLAYOFFS.” LJ’s insertion into the offense will open up the passing game for Schaub and Company, and of course, the Texans will have a Air Fest.
