It's a tale as old as time: The student becomes the teacher, yet the student suffers a knee injury, thus allowing the original teacher to sign with his former employer, even though the original teacher was deemed bad enough at his job that the Lions cut him a couple weeks ago.
If Duane Brown can't go Sunday, Rashad Butler should get the start at left tackle while Salaam remembers the good old days.
