Barber Headed To IR With Hamstring Injury

Texans Safety Dominique Barber left Sunday's game in Miami with a hamstring injury that will likely end his 2009 season. With the shortage at Free Safety, Texans Head Coach Gary Kubiak said that the team would look into "Bringing somebody back." Which most likely means that Tim can celebrate as his boy Brian Russell is probably headed back to the team.

Sure better hope that Tom Brady isn't playing Sunday when John Busing will be your stater and play probably the entire game.

Why not?

Busing already has.

And you know what gives me the warmest of cockles? When I see B-Russ and Busing on the field at the same time for punts.

A Texans fan. Really. No, I'm not kidding.

Oh god there was one point recently

Where they both missed on the same punt return. I made sure to laugh at that.

Brian Russell Is My Boy?

Dirty pool, Kerns. Dirty pool.

Looking forward to a day when being a Texans fan doesn't mean that April is the highlight of my season...

Our best hope to win Sunday

Just call strong safety blitzes, have Pollard go after Brady’s knee until he either gets hurt, gets pulled so he won’t get hurt, or comes out in fear of getting hurt. We could sacrifice some penalty yards if we could get Brady out of the game sooner

I would challenge you to a battle of wits, but you appear to be unarmed.

Can’t Kubes just point to a random fan in the stands and get him to play? Anything but Busing and Russell.

AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH.

I say this every time there’s a safety injury, but why god? WHY? Take a defensive tackle instead! We could not be any thinner at the safety position.

Wait....so B-Russ has actually been playing?

What special teams action has he seen?
