No details yet, but John McClain's latest blog entry has this bit of information:
The Texans released defensive end Anthony Weaver, offensive tackle Ephraim Salaam and safety Will Demps today. They also reached an agreement on a three-year contract with starting free safety Eugene Wilson.
I'm VERY interested to see what kind of money Wilson received from Smithiak. The fact that a deal was reached this quickly makes me believe/hope that both sides were reasonable, and that Wilson didn't attempt to price himself out of what should have been a pretty defined market for the Texans.
