Sage Rosenfels Officially Traded To Minnesota
After being rumored for the last few days, it's official now. Sage gets his opportunity to start in Minnesota, and your Houston Texans add another arrow to their proverbial draft quiver in the form of a fourth-round pick.
Was this trade made a year late? Probably. Regardless of your feelings for Sage, we should still thank him for his contributions during his time in H-Town. While his tenure may unfortunately be remembered for a single play (or, more to the point, the three (3) turnovers that followed said play), the fact remains that Sage did yeoman work for us. For that, we should be appreciative. Best of luck to Rosenfels as he tries to lead the Vikings to Valhalla.

You know your team's QB situation is screwed up
when Rosenfels is the clear favorite to start.
Good luck to him. He deserved a chance to start somewhere. Just not over Matt Schaub.
So what do the Texans do now? Do they sign another veteran backup, draft somebody (unlikely. Though it would interesting, if nothing else, to draft Pat White or Graham Harrell in the 3rd or 4th rounds and see if he can pass in the NFL. Not sure if the Texans should be experimenting with their draft picks like that, though), or see if Brink can do the work?

God decision last year, good decision this year.
We needed him last year and given the performance we expected from him for this past season I think keeping him was a good decision. Then after the performance he actually gave, we were right to trade him for the pick.
I always liked and respect Sage and wish him the best. But the play-that-shall-not-be-mentioned was perhaps one of the most selfish things I’ve seen a QB do and I’ll never forgive him for that.
We very rarely beat the Colts. I was absolutely fired up about that game until that play. And against a division opponent…. unforgivable.

Nice
I am pleased so far with our FOs activity in the offseason,D-Rob and #59 will get their deals soon, Sage did play alright for us although that Indy game wanted to make me kill a small kitten. Good luck in Minnesota Sage thanks for your hard work. Now with the Smithiak team having another middle round pick and the luck they’ve had getting in right in those middle rounds, any specualtion on what we might do with this newly aquired pick??
If you aint Texans then F@!# You!!!!

Have fun Sage.
Hopefully Allen doesn’t smell some Schaub on you and dive for your knees out of habit. Or he might be drunk and not able to tell either way.

Kansas City acquires Matt Cassel!
This might change things for us significantly, more on that soon.
Let's get the Texans a better fight song.
