Good news! Chris Brown is healthy!
No, really, that's what he says...
How many times can YOU read this article without snickering with quotes like this:
“He can provide a big back for us,” head coach Gary Kubiak
said. “Steve’s a smaller guy. We need somebody who can do a little more pounding, red zone, short yardage, those types of things.
Pounding, short-yardage back? The official roster lists Brown as only 19 pounds heavier than Slaton, while also being 6 inches taller.
I'm sorry, I just saw this posted over at Music City Miracles and just had to share it.

While this is potentially excellent news for the Texans
Chris Brown cannot be counted on contributing one carry for the ’09 Texans. Therefore we still have to add a decent backup RB in the upcoming draft. I am glad that we have not added one through free agency, because that has backfired on us enough in the past. We need some fresh legs to complement Super Steve. If we also have a healthy Chris Brown, then that would be awesome, but I am not holding my breath.
