Accordng to ESPN, the Tennessee Titans have offered a second round draft pick to the Arizona Cardinals for Anquan Boldin. This came after the Cardinals lowered their asking price for Boldin from a first and third round draft pick to a second rounder and "other compensation." Apparently the Titans have offered an undisclosed player along with their second round selection.

I don't think that I have to tell you that this wouldn't be great for the Houston Texans. Anytime that a team in your division can acquire a marquee receiver like Boldin, it makes it harder to face that team twice every year. What makes this even more bitter to swallow is that one of the historical weaknesses of the Titans has always been the lack of a prolific pass catcher.

Everyone cross your fingers.

I got a question tho…IF ARZ wants or 2nd rounder and say Chris Brown, would ya’ll be up for that…we have needs but to pass up a chance at boldin would be tough if that were the offer

My guess is that the Cards have need for an over the hill oft-injured RB

but if they did, I would gladly trade our #2 for Boldin. Can you imagine Boldin, Dre’, KDub and OD lining up together regularly? That would strike fear in any defense.

and yes Boldin’s salary would be a burden on us, but his play would be worth it.

In response to earlier comments about Arizona trading Anquan Boldin to the Titans for Lendale White and a second round pick. Arizona would definately improve their running game and fill a need on defense via trade. Tennessee would have a #1 reciever to compliment their running game. A first round pick at #30 should be used for a corner or defensive end. If this happens, we will be super bowl contenders. Mike Reinfeldt, get it done!
