James Casey Is The Newest Texan!

I love this pick. My only question is why we took Casey after having taken Anthony Hill with the second fourth-rounder. That, and what's wrong with Rashard Jennings?

Regardless, Casey's a player. Kyle Shanahan should have fun figuring out a way to get him onto the field.

i guess they are hoping that Chris Brown can stay health this year, but i was expecting rb in the 4th, and still no rb going into this 6th? and we now have 4 TE’s on the roster, 5 if they use baldwin at TE positon at all.

i love getting casey in the 5th. he was suppose to go early in the second round so this i think is a steal and to be honest he is never going to play tight end he is going to be our new slot or 4th receicever better then david anderson i think.

It’s great value; Casey was ALLEGEDLY a second-round talent, though you wonder what the hell happened for so many teams to pass on him. Still…he can line up at TE, WR, FB, RB, LS, and QB. For a fifth round pick, that’s tremendous.

too many TE's?!?

Owen Daniels should be signing to a long term deal…not fearing for his job with all the other TE’s on the roster…I swear just when I think I have my team figured out they do something like draft back to back TE’s when they already have a badazz Pro – Bowler on the roster. Get his deal done, as well as DeMeco and Dunta’s so I can sleep at night! So I don’t have to endure the pain of seeing them have awesome careers on other teams for crying out loud.
I hate the Saints for snatching up Malcolm Jenkins right b4 our pick as well.
